So, it appears I've been failing at keeping this up-to-date. At least I had good intentions. Well, I guess I'll give ya the scoop on my life these days.
In May I moved to Dallas, TX for the summer where I'm working for Celanese. We make all sorts of chemicals that are used in all sorts of consumer products. I work in the acetyls marketing group and do all sorts of fun stuff. So I'm living in an apartment not far from work with three other interns from other universities.
Last weekend I helped out on a Habitat for Humanity project where I spent most of the day putting up trusses on the top of the house. It was a very rewarding project and I learned a lot about how that is done. Before ya know it I'll be able to build my own house with all the experience I've acquired over lots of smaller projects. Anyway, It was extrememly how outside (even for Texas) so they had us drinking lots of Gatorade and water. The second half of the day I got to work with Greg, the head recruiter for BYU and that was a lot of fun.
It's been nice working for this company. It's a great job and it's giving me good experience in the chemical industry, particularly on the business side of the industry. My office is next door to another BYU intern who is a year ahead of me in school and we've become pretty good friends.
I have to say this has been a really positive experience and hopefully I'll keep this updated a little better than I have been.

You look a lot like Matt in that picture.
