So it appears I've been failing on keeping anyone up to date with this blog. Well, here's my attempt.
Since my last post, I went back to BYU and then took another internship with Celanese last summer. That internship was located in the small town of Narrows, VA. Just before leaving on that internship I got married to my wonderful wife, the former Julie Egbert. She went with me to Virginia for the summer and we loved it there. We made many great friends and spent some time with old ones. My friend James, with whom I worked in Texas, took a job at the plant in Narrows so we were both there once again.
After that internship, we moved back to Utah so I could finish up school. I worked hard, interviewed with a few companies, and then accepted a position with Celanese back at the plant in Narrows, VA. I graduated with my bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from BYU in December 2010 and just started my new position at Celanese in January 2011. Julie and I bought a house in a smaller town called Ripplemead just 10 minutes or less from where I work. We're in the process of getting settled in and we're enjoying the area, the people and I am enjoying my job.
I think that's good for now. We'll see how well I keep this up to date from here on out.
